Jane Tonks is a Regional Visual Artist living and working on Wiradjuri Country, Orange NSW. Jane has a Diploma of Fine Arts and specialises in contemporary, expressive landscape painting, evoking the experience of being in landscape and the essence of place. Her work is an expression of environmental activism, focusing on the importance of conservation and biodiversity in landscape. Jane has recently held her fifth solo exhibition, 'Nature l Nurture' exhibited at Orange Regional Gallery from 7 February - 29 March 2026.
